High-Standard Digital Finishing

Tight publishing deadlines occasionally require finished images of subjects which doesn't actually exist in the exact form they will eventually be marketed. Even the most beautiful products or buildings occasionally require photographing before the product is finished or building landscaping completed, these images still need to reflect the end result as closely as possible.

Almost anyone can digital retouch to a crude level especially for low-resolution website use. However, post-production of high-resolution images that will be viewed at close quarters, takes skill, time and patience. Architectural Digital Finishing

Typically this might involve, dropping in the final top layer of Tarmac, landscaping grass, and the removal of unavoidable distracting sales signs. More advanced examples have included replacing boarded up windows, restoring faded wall colours and even replacing faulty or missing lights including associated light spill.

This does require post production computer time but inevitably is cheaper that revisiting the site, especially important for long distance locations and access-sensitive sites!



Product Digital Finishing

This varies from minor changes of product colour, switches of decals. More involved subjects have included vehicle livery colour changes, right through to sophisticated prototype-to-finished-product conversion.

However it is vital that any digital enhancements are not over-played, IOP is highly skilled at accurate and subtle, high-resolution digital finishing that will minimise distractions and maximise impact.
